Region 1: Medieval Paris

Medieval Paris is engulfed in demonic plague, mist-draped cobblestones, and burning gothic spires. As Trevor Belmont, you traverse bloodied alleys, foggy quays along the Seine, and the burning gargoyle rooftops of Notre-Dame Cathedral. The region serves as the proving ground for Belmont whip mechanics, sub-weapon consecrated throwing arcs, and recognizing monster elemental affinities.

The road toward Dracula's Castle remains sealed behind dark blood seals until you scale the burning cathedral spire, defeat The Fallen, and claim the Crypt Gate Key. The Fallen answers only when you recover the Notre-Dame Crest after cleansing the three corrupted shrines scattered throughout the city.

Acquire the Belmont Leathers from the French resistance armorer (requires three Ghoul Sinews and 150 gold) so errant dark scythe attacks do not cleave your health pool in half. Stock up on Holy Frostbrew vials and enhance your Vampire Killer whip or blade at the smithing anvil for +2 consecrated attack power.

The central quest of Medieval Paris requires purging demonic defilement from the Saint-Merry chapel, the Seine river lock, and the cathedral ossuary. Completing this ritual is the only way to assemble the Crest and face the arch-demon guardian.
