Progression is strictly gated by major boss defeats and key relics. Medieval Paris acts as Region 1, which requires purifying three city shrines to unlock The Fallen atop Notre-Dame. Slaying The Fallen yields the Crypt Gate Key, granting access to Dracula's Castle & Catacombs (Region 2).
Region 1: Medieval Paris Objectives
- Purify the Saint-Merry chapel, Seine river lock, and cathedral ossuary.
- Gather Ghoul Sinews to craft Belmont Leathers at the resistance smith.
- Assemble the Notre-Dame Crest and scale the cathedral roof.
- Defeat The Fallen to claim the Crypt Gate Key.
Region 2: Dracula's Castle & Catacombs Objectives
- Unlock the subterranean iron gate with the Crypt Gate Key.
- Harvest Spectral Serpent Scales from Floating Medusa Heads.
- Mine Obsidian Ore along the chasm paths to craft Obsidian Gothic Plate.
- Forge the Gorgon Talisman and challenge Medusa in the Sunken Crypt.
Recommended Gear Checkpoints
Do not rush blindly into Region 2. The catacomb enemies hit twice as hard as Paris ghouls and inflict petrification status. Having both weapon polishes and ten Holy Frostbrew vials ensures a smooth transition.
